Kitchen wall
I was wondering if you could help me out with some ideas on how to design this wall in my kitchen. The opposite wall has the sink, oven and other storage but this wall has been baffling me. I was thinking of painting the wall with black chalkboard paint and add some led lights and storage bins on the fridges but I am not…

Basket case - when art alone doesn’t bring the texture - our layered with love Stairway
Basket Case … the perfect finishing touch 🧺 The perfect finishing touch for our hall, stairs & landing? A basket case moment — in the best possible way 💫 I fell head over heels for these four hand-woven wall baskets from @sahara .ie after visiting earlier this week — each one unique, full of texture, and bringing that…

Farmhouse Kitchen Extension - before, during, after
Before & After ~ South-Facing Kitchen Extension ☀️ The old kitchen sat in the darkest corner of the house in spite of being on the southern gable. The reason? No windows so it always felt closed in. We built a new south-facing extension off the gable wall to bring in the light it had always needed. Now it’s a bright,…

Single Widow with a teenage daughter - starting over
I'm writing on behalf of my new boyfriend, Mike McLaughlin. Him and his daughter, Karrin (Tink) just lost their wife and step mother, Kristie 9 months ago. They had to move from a 4 bed to a 2 bed apartment. Stepping in i see a loving man and father trying just to grieve and survive and of course provide for Tink. But they…

Which organizers do you prefer to buy from the dollar/discount store?
Lately, it feels like everywhere you look super discount retailers (like ALDI and Dollar General and Dollar Tree) are selling home organizers — from bins to baskets and beyond. I like my organizers to last, so I don't mind paying higher prices for a sturdy one that solves a major problem for me longterm, but it seems the…

Trying to make myself into an organized person.
I never have been. My closet is always a mess. Things are thrown everywhere. I don’t put them back after I try them on my spare room. Looks like it exploded with clothing and shoes. I will take any advice on getting organized. It’s not in my spare room, but even though I have my calendar on losing things I also have severe…

Help! My Pantry! Odd shape to organise
Hi everyone! I'm looking for suggestions on how to better organise my pantry please. My problem is not a regular rectangle shaped pantry, these are weird triangles on each side that go quite deep, So i'm constantly struggling to find a suitable layout. Admittedly i haven't done a decent shop for a while so would need some…

I’m moving and my new place is a little smaller and less closets
I need to get a closet organizer to put is my living room. I need drawers and to hang clothes?🤔🤔

I need to see my stuff but it is too messy
I have ADHD and find it much easier for me to see what is in my cabinets (clothes, pantry, toiletries) as opposed to putting them in drawers. I fold and stack my t-shirts, jeans, sweaters, etc., but it is unsightly and disorganized looking. I also have a hard time keeping up with housekeeping tasks, no matter how hard I…

redesigned kitchen has less space than before
I recently had my small galley kitchen redesigned and although there are more cabinets, I have less space for storage. It's the same thing with my new fridge, going from side to side to French door with two lower freezer drawers.

Small Closet Solution
I am looking for a small closet solution. I need a hanging bar with a shelf above it and some drawers on the side. The top shelf has to be 431/2” long, and the height 71”. I live in Canada so I’ve found my closet solutions to be limited while shopping. The options are mostly ugly white wire shelving with a hanging bar.

Legging storage ideas please
My legging collection is taking up valuable drawer space folded flat and I can't see them when one is on top of the other. How do y'all store your leggings??

Previous maximalist/vintage collector, now chronic pain makes all homemaking/cleaning very difficult
Hi, I would love some advice on de-cluttering/simplifying/cleaning tips. I used to have shelves full of knick knacks, gallery walls, lots of treasures. Now I have fibromyalgia and 3 back surgeries in the last 5 years. I'm trying to limit the amount of stuff on the floors so I can use the robot vacuum. I'm also one of those…

Hi There!
Introducing myself and wondering how someone with two jobs gets the time to declutter and get rid of stuff that your partner says they can't part with. I am a fan of southwest decorating and I love bohemian as well.

Legos!
Hello! I'm curious if anyone has a holy grail lego solution. We have many sets ranging from small to massive, and my kids give up quickly on the larger sets when everything is color sorted (as much as color sorting appeals to me, as done in the recent Nate Burkus post) Thanks! ML

How would you design this small studio apt (with seperate kitchen)?
I'm having a hard time to come up with ideas where to put everything and how to make this small space look good. Now it just looks old and rugged, but I'm not allowed to do any permanent changes, so I need to fix this by decorating. I'd need to fit a bed and a tv here at least and find out where to store my books and…
