Elfa Shelving Challenge
I’m setting up some Elfa shelving in my new home office, which I brought from my previous apartment. At the bottom are two cabinets that are not the same height but I need them to be the same height to create a large display surface for a LEGO model still in process (you can see it on the right cabinet). I have a way of…

I have a pantry cabinet with shelves that are 11 inches deep and a closet in my bathroom with shelves that are 26 inches deep. In both places, it's hard to organize items in a way that you can see everything or easily get out what you need. How can I organize them so I can actually find things and not have food or items…

Thank you for inviting me
My name is Kerry and I live in a townhouse in Australia just 15 minutes out from Adelaide. I read post from someone who had taken the brave step to use the chaos decluttering method to organise her things and then read more and now I am hooked. I am the queen of clutter to the point that most rooms are multi purpose…

Any recommendations for kitchen storage shelving?

How About The Whys Behind Decluttering..
The psychology of clutter/hoarding is interesting and need more of the why behind the behavior and the whys to stop and get out of the behavior…. For people who have lived with it for years and just are in overwhelm to do much, I want more ways to make it easier to let go. Part of my issue is that I think everything is…

Which organizers do you prefer to buy from the dollar/discount store?
Lately, it feels like everywhere you look super discount retailers (like ALDI and Dollar General and Dollar Tree) are selling home organizers — from bins to baskets and beyond. I like my organizers to last, so I don't mind paying higher prices for a sturdy one that solves a major problem for me longterm, but it seems the…

Long hallway needs some love!
Hi all! I have this very long narrow hallway ~20 ft and its proven difficult for me to figure out how to decorate. Here are my notes/feelings: I like having the giant frames, but I think the white is too much and have been thinking about replacing with some medium wood color ones. Would sconces look cool between the…

Best Under-Sink Bathroom Organizer?
Help — I'm a full-grown adult and I've never had my own bathroom sink before! I spent most of my life sharing a bathroom. Then, in the first apartment of my own (where I've lived the last 8+ years) there was no bathroom sink (look, don't judge, it was very affordable and I had a whole room dedicated to reading). Now, I…

Organizing Scarves and Purses
I have about 30 scarves, and I have tried many ways to store them. I don't like any of the ways. I bought one of those hangers that you can put scarves through little holes. I tied them to the rod in the closet. But then I never could find the scarf I wanted at the moment without feeling overwhelmed. I used to keep them in…

I need to see my stuff but it is too messy
I have ADHD and find it much easier for me to see what is in my cabinets (clothes, pantry, toiletries) as opposed to putting them in drawers. I fold and stack my t-shirts, jeans, sweaters, etc., but it is unsightly and disorganized looking. I also have a hard time keeping up with housekeeping tasks, no matter how hard I…

Legos!

How do you organize your shoes at home?
I'd love to know how you all organize your shoes at home. Do you have a favorite shoe organizer or rack? What's your favorite (and least favorite!) area to organize in your home?
I'll go first: I love folding sweatshirts (it's so niche but I feel super relaxed while doing it) and loathe reorganizing my spice cabinet. I wish I had a drawer, but all I have is a super tiny cabinet so I haven't quite found a way to organize it yet. (Open to suggestions!)
