Storage Locker - Condo/Apartment

Does anyone here who has an on site storage room/locker (approx 7'x4' cage) have suggestions for organizing all the 'stuff' just shoved in. I have a shelving unit but it is 'stuffed' as well.

    I have a very tiny storage unit in the basement of my building. Sadly, chickenwire is what separates my unit from the units on either side. Needless to say those units are bursting at the seams and the "walls" are curving into mine. Since I do not have straight walls against which to lean items I put everything in tubs and labeled them. When I do bring in my balcony rug for the winter I simply roll and secure with bungees and prop it on the top of the tubs. I hope that helps.
