Hi! My poor front porch is in need of some assistance. I plan on trying to power wash the brick and generally cleaning it up. But any ideas for giving it more curb appeal? I was kind of thinking about painting the alcove walls and maybe even painting the tile in front of the brick?
Modelo de una casa pequeña, cómoda, nada lujoso con materiales residentes y fácil de limpiar. Que la sala tenga una pared de vidrio Blindex que a su vez sea también uno de los costados de la piscina.
I need ideas as to how to use / decorate this alcove

This room used to be all tiled surfaces, cramped fittings and wasted potential. We started with a full replan - aiming to fit both a @bathshack freestanding slipper bath and a double shower into just 2 .5m x 2.5m without compromising character or comfort. ✨ The trick was to steal space where we could: A bathshack corner…
first time using peel-and-stick on cabinetry and it went surprisingly better than expected! I want to try tackling the beveled-edges next, but happy with the progress so far. Does anyone have any favorite peel-and-stick brands they'd recommend?

When we did a major remodel several years ago I read that one must choose three words to describe the vibe of your remodeled home and use as guiding principles to make the hundreds of design decisions. We finished the remodel and it turned out great, and now I use those same three words to decide what to keep or give away.…
I’m starting a “Swedish Death Cleaning” but need suggestions for places to donate, dispose of, and consign unwanted items.
I'm writing on behalf of my new boyfriend, Mike McLaughlin. Him and his daughter, Karrin (Tink) just lost their wife and step mother, Kristie 9 months ago. They had to move from a 4 bed to a 2 bed apartment. Stepping in i see a loving man and father trying just to grieve and survive and of course provide for Tink. But they…

As a design editor, I’m a firm believer that when it comes to toile, enough is never enough — and my browser history is proof. I have spent what feels like years dumpster diving through Etsy and eBay for antique-adjacent home decor staples dressed in whimsical toile prints, particularly those featuring pastoral motifs (which include repeating patterns of farm animals, shepherds, or rural scenes). I love avocado toast — I could eat it all day, every day, and still not get tired of it! I even make it a mission to try it everywhere I travel. What I didn’t know before becoming an avocado toast devotee is that avocado can leave behind some pretty stubborn stains when you get it on your clothes. Luckily I spoke with Ashley Kidder, founder of Mountains of Laundry, to learn how to get avocado out of clothes. READ MORE...
