I would appreciate some ideas for window coverings. We are in a heritage home, our dining room windows face north. The woodwork and windows are original to the home. They will not be changing, and the paint colour was recently applied. It is Benjamin Moore Wenge - I was after black, and my husband brown. Wenge was the compromise and we are both happy with it. We are looking to change the window coverings in the bay window. It is the only direct source of outdoor light although through the French doors to the living room does provide some light.
Although the room is used regularly, the green table cloth is not usually on. Today is it covering a puzzle and decoupage project. There are also two extra table leaves in, Easter leftovers. And today is overcast. Wish I took the photos yesterday. It is less dark than it looks here.
I plan to purchase a black rod. The window coverings do not need to open, but certainly can.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
