Holiday hyperventilating

I find it so exhausting decorating and trying to find the time to craft this years cutest catches before it is "too late." What is your cutoff date for baking, sending Christmas cards, and making your crafts?? I have been dissatisfied if everything is not wrapped up by December 10-15…I really want for those I love to know that they matter in a timely manner too. Merry Christmas all!!!

IMO it's never too late to have your whimsy! I usually try to have my gifts wrapped and ready by Christmas (especially if we're opening them together), but otherwise, if I'm running behind because life things, it is what it is. I try to give my friends a heads up if that's the case, but that being said, I have also made a deliberate effort to try to get ahead of gifting because I start to get very overwhelmed post-Halloween once all the holiday stuff starts trickling in. Something I do that helps me is create a note in my phone called GIFTING, and I have names of all my loved ones who I want to buy things for. Throughout the year, I collect little notes on them based on things they've shared or what I've noticed through conversation—that way, by the time the holidays roll around, you have a secret database of ideas!

Try not to stress yourself out over deadlines or feeling "too late" otherwise you'll rob yourself of the joy of this time of year 💛
