What to do with this hallway?
Hello, I need to decorate this hallway. I have these 24inch canvases to put but don't know what else to put with it or where because all 3 don't fit on 1 wall. The hallway is narrow and I have a 4year old so I am not interested in any shelfs or hooks. I need budget friendly suggestions as well. Please help.

My workspace is a mess, and I’m fixing it. Join me?
My current environment has officially hit a breaking point. Between the cable chaos under my desk, stacks of old sketches, and a digital file system that makes no sense, I’ve realized that the visual noise is actually killing my productivity. I’m starting a deep-clean and reorganization phase today, but I don’t want to do…

what to do with purged clothes still in great shape
Hi All, I just retired and happened to stumble on your amazing site and I also joined the much needed Cure Program. Any one have some thoughts on the best thing/place/people to donate/sell a closet full of really nice clothes that are still in great shape? Much appreciated - Lily

How to make bathroom feel warmer
I’m working with a large bathroom that feels clean but a bit empty and unfinished. I’m not planning any renovations or layout changes, so I want to rely only on accessories and styling to make it feel warmer and more intentional. I’m deciding between a few approaches and would really love some opinions: • Adding wall decor…

The Best Vertical Bookshelves that take up the least space as possible
Hi, can anyone give me advice about the a stylish & effective way to store books in a small space? I’ve been looking at those tower bookshelves (really all I’ve got room for) - any advice from people who own them or something similar about how effective they are? Or advice on another possible creative solution? Thanks so…

looking for lists...
Hi! Did I miss a post that shared templates for home repairs or to create our own lists? I see our "choose your own adventure day" and some ideas shared, but it seems like there would be a day dedicated to coming up with our own lists from which to choose. Thanks!

Looking for Inspirational Words HELP
I'm looking for suggestions on Inspirational words. This year I'm hoping to sell my home and move closer to my daughter. I'll be doing The Cure continuously until my house is sold, and my next home is on the horizon. All suggestions welcome. Thank you.

Any suggestion
If anyone can provide visual cues it would be greatly appreciated. What has me stumped is this cool metal and lets no overlook (I know they’re a blessing but…) all the doors won’t allow for setting up a focused entryway/landing spot. Thank you in advance. P.S. Yes I tried AI and I don’t know what’s worse, my lack of vision…

Paint and decorating advice - 1913 rowhouse
Hi there! Had a few questions about some decorating stuff and hoping the creatives here could help :) I painted the wall behind the tv and sides of the fireplace in the family room a dark blue - other people haven't liked the blue and I get it but we like the blue. I am going to put a mirror to bring in some light from the…

Clutter - It's exhausting
I look forward to the cure every year. I'm especially focused this year because I'm hoping to sell my house in the next year or so to move closer to my daughter. The cure is a great start to get my house spruced up to sell. Today was the overflow drawer in my kitchen. It was packed full and it's now nearly empty. I'm not…

Need to improve dining area
I am renting a condo with a small dining area. I was able to fit my grandmother's dining room furniture (which means a lot to me) because the table has removable leaves plus drop leaves. I just feel it is a bit dull for my taste. I am open to ideas except replacing the furniture.

My entry nook needs SOMETHING
This is the space as you enter my small apartment (opposite the kitchen). I would love some ideas on how to maximize the space with storage without it feeling overwhelming as soon as you walk in. My style combines modern with a bit of glam x industrial. Access to the side walls is needed for the light switch and intercom.…

What should we do with this wall?
We live in a 1914 craftsman and want to add some additional bookshelves in our living room. We are looking into modular systems but not sure what to do here. The wainscoting goes up to 26.5" and we'd prefer not to drill/mount anything on it. Love some ideas!

Exterior Design Question
Most know what a spiral staircase looks like. So I have always wondered why some city garden apartments have 2 to 6 steps when many who want a garden apartment need flat homes. Masons must conform to specific angles when making concrete ramps and too often there is insufficient garden apartment space for a ramp. I'm…

Help arranging a living room
Hi. I need some help. We bought this house a couple years ago and the living room is awkward. I haven't figured out what type of furniture or how to arrange it, so I havent invested in any furniture yet. It is just the two of us, in our late '50s. We have family that visits on occasion and on holidays. We have a large dog.…
