I have never seen a clawfoot tub like this. It's more like a claw-leg tub! (I'll see myself out.)
This 125-Year-Old NYC Apartment Has a Bathtub in the Kitchen — But It Totally Works
@michellebell where are you seeing this tub!!??? Please pop a link and or a pic in!
I wish I could! Can't figure out how. But that's the actual title of the house tour!
got it! And this is the tour - This 125-Year-Old NYC Apartment Has a Bathtub in the Kitchen — But It Totally Works And you're right, that's a very old fashioned claw foot/leg tub for very small NYC apartments. It really just allows for a shower!
Thanks! I added the link to my initial post. Still not sure how to make an image show up though. And yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking: That's not really a tub you can sit in!
@michellebell you got a big laugh out of me once I saw the photo. Claw-leg! I just love a quirky NYC apartment 😂
Easy to do with the buttons below… I DO find the best way to grab a photo and then upload it is to screenshot it on my Mac.
Those are some shins!!
So it's cute, but the current setup is very impractical. There's nothing protecting the walls, the floor, or that wood cabinet from the splash and steam that will come from that shower. And I don't think they keep that plant there permanently; if they did, the curtain wouldn't even close.
It seems to work well for her 🤗
