Most know what a spiral staircase looks like. So I have always wondered why some city garden apartments have 2 to 6 steps when many who want a garden apartment need flat homes. Masons must conform to specific angles when making concrete ramps and too often there is insufficient garden apartment space for a ramp. I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen a spiral ramp for a garden apartment. Think Law & Order street level apartments where the entry is under the building's stoop. Maybe a mason will see this post.
