A Home Office for my Husband
I would like to design this space for my husband who works remotely as a civil engineer. So far, we have just finished his desk. I am thinking adding one long floating shelf on the wall facing the desk for storage and art or should we do multiple shelves? We cannot repaint or rip out the carpet.

Way behind
Day one of this wonderful Apartment Therapy I'm at the emergency room with Dr's taking Xray's of my right arm. They have found a mass. I have pain. but not serious. Just can't use my rt. arm. It's moved up into a nerve. Now I have no movement in rt. arm and PAIN! So all my decluttering plans are on hold until this gets…

Need advice on furnishing a 2000s condo
Hi! I'm moving into a 1 bedroom condo that was built in the early 2000s and has some strange design choices. I'd love some help figuring out how to make this space livable and workable for two people without spending a ton of money. My partner and I both work from home. I'm required to use a desktop, but he usually just…

A work-in-progress WFH office
About four months in, my 450 square-feet studio apartment is still a messy work in progress, but at least my office corner is beginning to look a little more inviting, as well as functional. My lease is an ironclad nightmare —no painting, peel-and-stick wallpaper, only 3mm nails allowed on the walls, and so on, so I'm…

What's your favorite piece of storage/organization furniture?
While I love finding a great deal on an organizing find at the the Dollar Store, Target or on Amazon.com, sometimes you need to spend a little more to combine storage and organization with a furniture piece to really get the most out of your space. This super cute storage locker from Novogratz was a win-win in my attic…

Optimizing my WFH office nook
I'd like to optimize my WFH office nook to be more pleasant, more intentionally created. I've been using this for 2 years since coming back to work post-baby, and decor/ambience has not been my priority most of this time. I am currently 2-3 days/week here. This is a space in our basement family room, so there are a number…

New Desk Chair!
I just got my desk chair back from the upholsterer, and it was worth every penny to have a scrap of fabric I found at a sample sale turn something store bought into a custom piece! What do you all think? This isn't the exact spot where it's going to go, but it's the room. I couldn't believe how well this House of Hackney…

I can't decide which accent wall color looks best in my home office
I work from home and have always wanted to paint the wall behind my desk in a dark shade of green, but I'm being extremely indecisive - help!
