I just got my desk chair back from the upholsterer, and it was worth every penny to have a scrap of fabric I found at a sample sale turn something store bought into a custom piece! What do you all think? This isn't the exact spot where it's going to go, but it's the room. I couldn't believe how well this House of Hackney fabric ties together the wall color and my curtains!

@Hollis It’s a Jonathan Adler chair. I got it on major sale and with a gift card! The top is what drew me to it. I’d first considered it for my dining chairs, but six would be way out of the budget — even at 30 percent off!

This chair is absolutely beautiful @DanielleBlundell !! What a creative and smart way to make a unique piece for your space. I need to think outside of the box more often. I'm so inspired! Also, where does one find a large fabric scrap that's this cute? LOL

NIGEL: There's a scale. One nod is good; two nods, very good. There's been only one actual smile on record and that was Tom Ford in 2001.

@DanielleBlundell Wow, it looks great. Was it costly to have uplolstered? I would love to see a picture of the desk that is goes with. And yes it goes perfectly with the wall color and curtains. Muy bien hecho!
