Clean decluttering
I live in Hud housing. I am disabled and was recently in the hospital. Thousing authority is doing inspections in May. I'm clean but can't lift anything heavy. Any suggestions how I can get my bedroom closet cleaned out without exacerbating my underlying health issues?

How do I get my space featured on Apartment Therapy?
I’ve put a lot of effort into designing and organizing my apartment with a cozy, modern aesthetic, and I’d love to have it featured on Apartment Therapy. Does anyone know the submission process or tips for increasing the chances of being selected? Are there specific photography styles, room types, or design themes that the…

Frustrated in a Apartment Addition
I’m inquisitive about looking in to the coding of permits issued. I have heard from surrounding neighbors that this 35+ house turned triplex has had a parade of tenants. I’m on the top floor created for a mother-in-law suite. Very little insulation, improper ventilation and many unusual things are unknown to the current…

I'm looking for gardening tips for beginners. How do you know what to grow?
Does anyone here pride themselves on having a green thumb? Can you share some beginner tips with someone (read: me 😅) who doesn't know where to start with gardening? I'm wondering how you know what to grow in different conditions. There's so much information online. Any tips are appreciated!

Bottle Brush Tree Embellishments
I just snagged these bottle brush trees at Anthropologie a few weeks back for $4 each (they're definitely left over from last year but match my holiday decor perfectly). I was thinking about embellishing them… taking votes. Would you do little bows like this, pearls or gold mini balls, something else entirely?

Show us your holiday decorations ✨
I'm not putting up a tree this year, but I'm still doing what I can to add a touch of holiday joy to my home: lots of pine, a wreath I made, silly ornaments hanging in random places, and ribbon everywhere! How are you getting into the holiday spirit?

Making a Temporary Furnished Sublet Look Like a Home
Hello, design enthusiasts! I am subletting a furnished bedroom + dressing room in a cozy Brooklyn townhouse for the next six months while I take time to look for my own apartment in a new neighborhood. I don’t have any personal furniture, but I added inexpensive curtains, bedding, decor, and a rug (all from Amazon!) along…

Dried fruit garland tips?
A couple years ago, I DIYed a dried fruit garland, and it took FOREVER. (Like, 4 or 5 hours.) Does anyone have any tips for speeding up the process or simplifying? Or any tips for how to mix it up/make it look better this year? I used lemon, grapefruit, and orange the first time around.

Is their a faux holiday garland brand you swear by?
I'm looking to add more faux garland to our holiday decor scheme this year. Sometimes the ones I see recommended online can arrive looking pretty thin. I know the trick is to sometimes buy two and wrap them together, but has anyone been pleasantly surprised with faux holiday garland they've purchased online recently?…

Are you decorating for Halloween?
Last year, I got into Halloween after resisting for so long (don't ask me why 😂). I love seeing how other people get into decorating at home for holidays, so I'd love to know if you plan to decorate for Halloween! If you're planning on it, what do you usually do? Spiderwebs, pumpkin painting, something else? I have a few…
