Wall bed in living room??

For several reasons, we’ve given up the bedroom of our 1/1 to our 1 year old (everyone is sleeping so much better).

The plan is to get a Murphy / wall bed for our queen size bed and I’m finding myself wanting some inspo on how people have styled and configured their open living/dining/kitchen room area to also be a bedroom! Another note: we like to entertain so bonus points for ideas on how to also make it a good entertaining space.

Or if you know of some inspo (besides 600sqftandababy which I’ve been absorbing), please share!

hi @Mandaranda! I'd love to see photos of your space! if you're looking for inspiration, I suggest looking at this 650-square-foot apartment that's home to a family of five. the parents have a murphy bed in their entryway, which is super discreet and allows them to have more of a living room.

hi @Mandaranda ! agree with cullen, would love to see a photo of your space if you're open to sharing! As for inspo, a few Murphy bed stories I love:

• before and after home office/spare bedroom redo with a custom Murphy bed
• Murphy bed hidden behind sheers instead of a cabinet/doors
• Murphy bed in a living room area
• Murphy bed in a 280 sf apartment

@Mandaranda , love this idea! Have you narrowed down the murphy bed you're thinking of buying? I've also been on the market and am so curious to hear other people's recommendations..
