@NikiCreatives It looks lovely to me and I like that it doubles as a guest room. It's just a rendering but if accurate - and really has those lovely windows with nature outside - it seems like a really nice place to work!
I think it looks amazing. Love the minimalist style!
I would love this! I know it’s a rendering, but a suggestion coming from someone who has an office with a bedroom setup… make sure your office chair can fully push under the desk when guests are using the room. I purchased a new chair last December and have a pull out keyboard tray. Whenever I have guests I have to unattach the tray in order to push the chair under the desk fully so it isn’t awkward for guests to move around the room.
Move the desk by the window for good light and a cheering view. The rarely used bed tucks under the stairs.
Looks nice and the suggestions are good, too. I would add a lot of pillows to the bed- along the wall - so it looks more like a couch and less like a bed.
I think it looks nice! I WFH most of the time and take a lot of video calls, so I personally wouldn't want a bed in my background (which I get might be unavoidable with a more rectangular space like this, but also you can just use a virtual background) or the natural light at my back. I have my desk near the window so I can see out the window while working, and as vain as it seems the light reflecting off my face (vs the back of my head) makes for a clearer (more flattering) video image.
I recommend switching out the chair in the rendering for one that tucks neatly underneath the desk and has a smaller footprint. CB2 makes fantastic office chairs that are elegant and look more like furniture.
…I would also splash out for a larger piece of art that takes up most of the wall space on the bed wall.
Lovely! I'd also swap the bed over with the desk - on video calls the light from behind can be quite disruptive. A naturally lit face and a bit of a view might make for a better working environment, as well as being less heavy on lighting costs. And definitely esure the chair arms fit under the desk, for your own back comfort as well as making it easier for guests to move around.
