My attempts to pressure wash the back patio were foiled when my pressure washer misbehaved and various efforts to troubleshoot were unsuccessful.

In need of an outlet for frustration, I whipped out my little electric saw and cut back some shrubbery that had regrown too vigorously near one corner of the house.

I had to watch some videos of others pressure washing until I can replace the pressure washer, as a bit of a consolation prize for not actually getting to do some myself. Are there other weirdos like me that find watching pressure washing cleaning videos a little hypnotic?

For a treat, I joined my group of knitting ladies for a knit, natter and nibblies. I managed to get back on track with a work in progress that had been languishing for a couple of years, which was a nice bonus to the good food and company.

I’ve added a replacement lightbulb onto my shopping list so I can be a bit more proactive. It was MOST unlike me to have a spare lightbulb floating around 😂
