Re: Who's ready for our Spring Cleaning Cure?
There is one particular window that I definitely need to tackle...
Re: Excessive Mirrors In My Home
I feel you, that’s a lot of mirrors. I had something similar and didn’t want to deal with replacing anything either. What ended up working for me was using a stained glass window film right over the mirrors. It toned everything down a lot and made the space feel way less intense, especially across from the bed. Plus it added some color and made it feel more like decor instead of just a wall of mirrors. Super easy to put on too, and you can just peel it off later if you change your mind.

Can't wait. The Cure helps me get off the computer/devices and get into my surroundings. Decluttering my space literally helps me declutter my mind! 🌟

Re: Living room layout/rearranging
Hi @dharmadm7219 — It's so cool to see more of your space, specifically that sunshine-y yellow I just adore! How often are you watching TV and does it bother you that one of the sofa backs are facing the TV? Also, if you're using everything in the room, is there something about the space that isn't working for you? I think the main issue I see is that you have too many seating options (and I say this with love because I have so many chairs in my space too!). If you're in a position to buy a new sofa, it would look nice to get a L-shape that creates a nice zone around the fireplace and TV area. You would need to move the chairs around (or you could potentially fit one within the zone). Here's a little sketch of what I'm imagining…
Re: Stumped on my entryway — help!
I like this! I have a full length mirror on the wall to the right when you walk into the living room (it helps reflect the light from the windows because the room is pretty dimly lit), but maybe I can try putting a thin console with a circular mirror above it
Re: Stumped on my entryway — help!
Turn the wall with the thermostat on it into a gallery wall, thus giving your eyes other things to focus on, particularly if there are faces of loved ones or other portraits? You might mix a hook or little shelf in there too if you need some practicality.
Re: Stumped on my entryway — help!
Hello there! well, I'd definitely go with a full length wall mounted mirror on the right of the thermostat, and a maybe vintage coat hanger on the left, and that's that! (like in the picture or the other way around)
NYC apartment help
Hi guys! I just moved into an apartment in NYC and feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment, it feels bare and like the furniture does not fit into the space. If anyone has any advice/ tips I would greatly appreciate it.
Stumped on my entryway — help!
Hi everyone! I'm coming to you with a dilemma that has haunted me since I moved into my apartment: my stubborn entryway. It opens up to the living room on one side, and the other leads down a hallway to the rest of the apartment. The problem is that if I want the front door to open up fully, I only have about 12 inches of space left. I've tried putting a bench there for storage, but it ended up feeling cramped. My other issue with this wall is the thermostat being dead center on it
Fresh eyes and any suggestions welcome! I've stared at this wall for longer than I'd like to admit and I'm ready to make some changes
