Re: Does this home office setup make sense or it's too small and 'cramped'?
…I would also splash out for a larger piece of art that takes up most of the wall space on the bed wall.

I think it looks nice! I WFH most of the time and take a lot of video calls, so I personally wouldn't want a bed in my background (which I get might be unavoidable with a more rectangular space like this, but also you can just use a virtual background) or the natural light at my back. I have my desk near the window so I can see out the window while working, and as vain as it seems the light reflecting off my face (vs the back of my head) makes for a clearer (more flattering) video image.
Re: Before & After: This Plain White Home Transformed Into the Cutest Colorful Storybook Cottage
Head's up that any time I tried to start a discussion on this post: https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/white-painted-brick-curb-appeal-budget-redo-36815323 It wouldn't let me connect to it.
This new format drives me bonkers.
Re: House Tour: This Furniture Designer’s Joyful Mexico City Apartment Is Nothing Short of Stunning
I like the space, particularly the flooring; however it looks less like a home and more like a clever stylish art gallery. Just too many items that look like “exhibits”. They’ve brought their work home a bit too obviously.
Tell me about a product you absolutely swear by 🤩
Consider this the ultimate show-and-tell. What’s something you own that genuinely makes your day easier, happier, or just… better? A tiny tool you can’t live without? A splurgy thing that was worth it? A quiet little workhorse you recommend to everyone?

Gotcha! Thanks for clarifying. We're working on smoothing out this process 🙏 but in the meantime, our moderators will update any posts that are missing the visuals/article link

Doesn't bother me in the same way. But I could see a gentler tone on the door working.
January Cure 2026 Discussion
New year, new Cure! We’re kicking off the January Cure right here in the Forum, and we’d love to have you along. 💛
Every day in January, you’ll get one simple task — nothing overwhelming, just small changes that add up: clearing clutter hotspots, refreshing habits, making a plan for what you actually want your home to feel like this year.
We’ll use this space to check in, share wins (big or tiny), and remind each other that progress is progress. The group energy is honestly half the magic.
Make sure you sign up for the daily emails, then come back here to keep the momentum going. We'll start on Monday, January 5th.
Say hi below and tell us what you’re hoping to reset this month!
Re: 5/7 decluttering method
Ooooh I love this hack! Do tell us if you try it out in your home, @VintageBirthday ❤️
Here's the article they're referencing, in case anyone else wants to read!
Re: January Cure 2026 Discussion
Looking forward to it. I'm pleased with the decluttering progress I've made in the last few weeks. I got the kids to sort through their toys and I decluttered and labeled the boxes in the TV stand, so the living room is clutter free even with the Christmas tree!
The kitchen is still fairly clear, even after a few weeks. The basket now on the island to catch things is working well. I'm hoping to declutter the kitchen in small steps, a shelf or cupboard or drawer at a time, and get most done before Christmas.
I cleared out my small store room so there was space to store things that shouldn't be stored all around the house in it. That was my first job a couple of months ago. It's not full yet!
The diner part of the kitchen-diner is definitely a target for January.
