My wife and I recently added some greenery to our outdoor space. We've sourced the plants from FB Marketplace & Brooklyn Plantology.

This looks so relaxing and cozy. Do you have any tricks for sourcing good plants on Facebook marketplace? I've never tried!

I love TheSpruce website for all my plant care questions @MakingHomeWithApril @DanielleBlundell Their articles are usually pretty in depth and I keep a little library on my computer of tips for every plant I have. If i don't know what type of plant I have, I take a picture with Google Lens on my phone and search for it.

@DanielleBlundell @MakingHomeWithApril The tip is they're thirsty ones, so making sure to water often (about once every few days) and placing them in the rain wouldn't hurt either.

@VixonJ Thanks for the tip. I will work on watering them with more frequency. They look a mess right now. Might not be any saving this pair though.

What neighborhood is this?! I'm obsessed with how springy everything looks (as well as the radius corner of your brick ledges)!!

I live in Chicago now but I’m originally from South Carolina. This porch is so reminiscent of my late grandparents front porch. Especially the big bountiful ferns. I’m so jealous. I’d love to sit on a porch like this to relax. There are so many things I didn’t take into consideration when I purchased my home. Enjoy!

i love your porch! and especially the stone walls (so nice they remain visible as stones and are not whitewashed)
