Hiding an air conditioner in plain sight

Does anyone have any ideas of how to hide a window unit AC in plain sight when not in the window? We take our AC out of the window at the end of the season every year. We used to hide it behind our couch but that’s no longer an option. I was thinking of having box made so that would mask the unit and it could double as a table. Maybe cover the box in some fun fabric or wall paper. I’m open to suggestions! Right now it’s on a dolly in our bedroom and I hate it.

    I'm not sure if this would match your personal style, but what about skirting an existing table or desk you have at home to hide the AC under?

    That way, you're saving space too. If you could use an extra table or surface though, I love your idea of getting a custom box made and making it fun!
