Just wanted to show off a mirror we built over the weekend.
Love how it turned out.
Thanks! The individual mirrors are from Ikea. The frame is made from trim pieces from the hardware store. (They already had the little leaf detail on them) We just painted and cut them and put everything in place.
This looks incredible!! Are these the mirror tiles you used? Super reasonable if so, I'd be so curious to know how much the total project cost? It turned out so perfect, I love how it plays with the hanging plant and ceiling beams😍
Thanks! Yes, those are the mirror tiles from Ikea. The whole thing was under $200. (In Canada, even less in USD haha)
This looks amazing!!! Such a creative use of the space vs. just adding one giant floor mirror
Very creative and very smart / budget conscious. Way better than one big plain mirror. I love this.
@Megandf this is such a beautiful project!! amazing job! I've seen the mirror tiles used before but never with molding like this — I am obsessed! Did you take before photos of the space/mirror tiles? If so, would you consider sharing your project with us as a before & after? Our submission form is here!
wow gorgeous. Very well done. Are the mirrors adhered to the walls, with the trim in between or is the trim holding them on. Are there two layers of trim?
The mirrors are stuck to the wall with two sided tape. The trim is in between, attached with finishing nails. Just one layer of trim.
That looks absolutely stunning! The grid design adds such a stylish, modern touch, and it really enhances the space. Love how it reflects the light and makes the room feel more open. Great work bet it was super satisfying to complete!
Beautiful! Love the detailed trim you chose!
