So happy you found your way here! Welcome, and congrats on your fresh start 😊
I'd start off by asking yourself how you want to feel in your home. Each area can have a different feeling, too! For example, if you like to cook a lot and host friends at home, maybe you want the kitchen/dining area to feel welcoming and inspiring. Your color palette and decorating decisions can support how you want to feel in those spaces. If you'd like, share some photos in our Design Questions board and we can all weigh in with some specific advice!
Also in Virginia (Richmond). Hi! 👋
Hi all! I'm from Myrtle Beach SC. My style is eclectic. Not beachy, though. I'm disabled and have decided to revamp most of my house,as I'm able. I'm a DIYer. I'm a huge art lover. 😊🫶🏻🌴🐾
Hello,
Norfolk, VA here! I am a single woman living in a two bedroom apartment. I work from home full time. I like to binge watch my favorite shows on TV, go to church, and read whenever I am not working. 🤔🏚🍫🎧📀
Hi
I have been binge watching Hetty Wainthrop Presents on the Britbox Mysteries channel on Pluto TV.
Hello all!
Im Mark and in about 8 weeks I will trade small manufactured home in Arizona mountains for a townhouse in St Petersburg FL. I'm looking at Murphy beds that don't anchor to a wall and queen bed with under bed storage.. My wife and I have clothing collections, so the small closet needs help. We are trying to avoid dressers. Oh yeah my wife is modern design and I'm smart enough to go along with that. Any suggestions or warnings would be appreciated.
Welcome, Mark! Congrats on the move, hopefully it's an exciting one 😊 I'm from Florida and love the St Pete area. I recommend that you post a separate inquiry on the Murphy bed/storage in our Design Questions board so more people can see it! How come you can't anchor to a wall? Based on my experience with these beds, you kinda want the extra support. Would a futon/sleeper sofa or alternative arrangement be a better fit?
