I struggled to make a title to explain but I just purchased an apartment that has an empty window-like space between each bedroom and the main room. Ideally, I'd like to somehow make it a window since now it's just open. It looks like the last owner had nailed some sort of material to cover it since there are a lot of nails and nail holes left. I'm fine with learning to DIY but not sure how to get started. Should I be contacting window installers for quotes? Any tips (or resources) would be very welcome.
