What's an easy cleaning trick you love? I've been meaning to up my cleaning game but wanted to get some advice!
Cleaning one room a day. I always heard this advice, but never took it, and now that I have I can't go back! It's so much faster, easier, and keeps the house consistently clean. Not to mention there's no dreaded "house cleaning" weekend day that you'd rather spend relaxing or doing something fun! Once in awhile the home will still call for a deep cleaning, but the ongoing maintenance is much easier!
older post, but I agree entirely on the one room a day method. This is what copilot did for me to keep me on track
What about the kitchen though? Do you count it as one room or split into zones? That one always takes me the longest
The single biggest change in my life came with a product for cleaning, dusting, polishing: METHOD « Wood for Good » which is useful for every type of furniture except antiques that have not been sealed The product smells clean and does not attract dust as some products do. It has kept my 50 year old coffee table from the Amana furniture store looking beautiful despite the table’s central location in every house we’ve ever lived in.
