Galley Kitchen / Foyer Update
Looking to update this galley kitchen with new cabinets, countertop, wall backsplash and flooring. Any design recommendation and color way recommendations would be helpful. Need to figure out a good flooring color that flows nicely from the wood foyer color. I would also like tips on the wall decoration between the cabinets!

How fun! A red diamond/checker pattern in your kitchen would look great. I love these colors (and you can see how the colors go with the wood similar to yours), but I would do the pattern how it is in the kitchen with the cute pup:
What other colors do you like? Color drenching the foyer would make a big impact!

Marmoleum flooring looms like speckled stone, is good for the environment, comes in many colours, easy to clean, can be installed in pattern of two colours too. I suggest a soft golden or creamy colour to blend with the wood foyer floor but you could choose a brown or any other colour. Cabinets or backsplash need to pick up the floor colour if you choose a colour like green for example. if you choose the golden or cream colour then you could go with any colour for cabinets then repeat the floor colour in your backsplash. On the wall at the back, consider a spice rack and a hanging pots rack to add storage and decor, with a favorite framed poster above them. The wall could be in a contrasting or similar colour to the colour of the cabinets. For example, I would choose a golden flooring, turmeric or similar burnt golden hue for cabinets then wood look countertop to blend with foyer floor or a creamy white quartzite, and a burnt orange end wall. If you can afford it make the backsplash the same material as the counter as a slab or could be in smaller tile sized pieces for texture. Another backsplash idea is to buy embossed white wallpaper and then paint to seal it. I have done that before, and then you can repaint another colour or remove and install another texture for an update later on. I also love brass or copper counters and backsplash, since you have such a small space, would make the kitchen a jewel box, then black pulls and faucet for contrast.
