we live in a home built in the 20’s - lots of small rooms- large farmhouse kitchen overlooking the rambling valley with stonewalls separating the property lines… magical.
The home is very mid century vibe. Wood and walls. Lots of wood! A beautiful brick fireplace in living room with faux wood beams on ceiling.
This is a 2 story home with a basement( unfinished ). One bathroom ( until Reno). We had my dad carve out a 2nd bathroom in the second floor between our boys rooms. It was n necessary before we got to the main bathroom total gut Reno!
Years later…. We finally found the perfect contractor who did it all! Yup! Electric, plumbing, carpentry, finishing work! Amazing!!!!!!!
I supplied him with the design and purchased all of the guts of bathroom! Before he even started the job!
We moved our bathroom 3 feet into our “ dining room” who needs a dining room! Ugh!
we are still working on getting storage solution
and some last-minute touches with the bathroom toilet nook area. But other than that, I basically wanna live in this bathroom. It’s gorgeous. It’s better than I ever dreamed it could be.
Wow! I just replied to your other thread asking for advice on the bathroom storage, but I'm even more stunned now that I've seen the full transformation. Bravo! 👏
This is so beautiful and feels very appropriate for the idyllic description of your home. Where are you located? It does sound like magic! As much as I love a retro butter yellow tile, it looked like it needed to go. Great job on this reno! It must feel amazing after waiting so long to see it come together
thank you!
Transformation is the best. Q: What is on the ceiling: in one picture it appears there’s part of a leaf? Stellar job.
OUUUU! The selection of colours perfectly compliment each other! it looks beautiful.
Your bathroom reno is GORGEOUS and fits with age of the home. You should be proud of yourself.
Congratulations looks stunning
