Help! I have this beautiful bathroom Reno almost done!
I am struggling finding the right storage solution for this 35 inch wide 16 inch depth space next to this mid-century vibe vanity in my newly renovated bathroom. I’ve waited years to do this bathroom and it is absolutely gorgeous and we love it so I want to make sure that I find the right solution. I have searched for months !
I reached out to the manufacturer of the vanity and they did not have anything that would match it. The color of the vanity is like a chocolate color, bathroom has gold and black accents. The tub / shower tile is a turquoise . A very mid-century/BoHo vibe going on here.
The one photo left side of vanity it the one space in am looking for the storage solution- it can be very tall. Has to have feet or space to allow heat to get into space; as the heat air exchange is on the floor in this space.
A second need is this space above the toilet area… it’s very empty and I feel I could utilize the vertical space for more storage or accents… and help there would also be appreciated ;)

I love this bathroom and love how much you love it! (How many times can I say love in one sentence?) 😂
For the bathroom storage, what about something like this? It's a beautiful walnut wood — probably not the exact color of your cabinets, but pretty close. I wonder if you could talk to someone at your local hardware store about finding a stain to match and finish off any cabinet you get for this area. I personally don't mind mixing woods, but it's so dependent on what works for you! This shelving unit in mahogany is also interesting because the material feels very boho. And there's always the classic ladder-style unit like this that could work. Alternatively, if you want to keep things off the floor, I love Burrow's wall shelving units. You can customize the sizing, and the dark wood looks close to what you're working with
Above the toilet, you could add more artwork, or if you need storage, something like this walnut cabinet would look nice and keep those pesky toilet paper rolls hidden (and nearby)!

If you go with artwork on the wall, it would be busy. I prefer some storage/shelving.
