Hi,

We're looking for a designer for our very small kitchen in a vintage condo in Chicago. We'd like to possibly re-use our current Ikea cabinets—either paint them or just get new fronts. Open to possibilities!

A kitchen reno — exciting! I used Semihandmade for custom fronts on my IKEA cabinets, and they're holding up great. Two thoughts here:

    • Have you heard of TALD? You can search for designers in your area. They're fairly new but there are some amazing designers on there
    • I've also heard good things about Form Kitchens (not Chicago-based but in case you design to go down a more virtual route)

Hey there! It sounds like an exciting project! For your condo kitchen, reusing your Ikea cabinets is a great idea. Painting them or adding new fronts can give your kitchen a fresh, personalized look without breaking the bank. I recommend checking out furniture ideas for inspiration. Best of luck with your kitchen makeover!
