Recommendations: My Favorite Suede Oven Mitt (What's yours?)

I love to cook and I have the burns to prove it. In reaching for hot pot handles I’ve mainly used cloth versions of pot holders until I was given a pair of suede oven mitts from Jane Domestic. Unlike my old go-to cloth mitts, these thick suede mitts never catch on fire, never get hot on my hands, and are even lovely when using under pots and pans serving at the table. I recommend alway having two in the kitchen, and prefer the "burnt orange" mitts as they are more supple than the black (but I have black as well).

I have a few burns, too, so I now have firesafe red gloves with two fingers and a mitten part for three fingers so best of mitts and five finger gloves options. These cover six inches up from my wrist. They are from Lee Valley Tools, good to 660 degrees with sticky pads for grip.
