A well organized cleaning set up in your sink is an essential part of a happy home, and I've wrestled for years with mine. While I've made many small changes, the big one came this past year when I finally woke up and realized that an in-sink sponge holder was one of the best ideas on the planet.
I now use two different kinds of sponges with two holders, AND having them hang inside the sink takes them off the counter, allows them to drip free, and hides them (mainly) from sight. Not going back.
