Thanks for checking out my story. Let me know what you think, or if you have any questions and I’ll get back to you :)
I loved this makeover, Marcel! The color capping in this room is delightful and a good case study showing that you don't always need to drench a space to make it feel bright and renewed. Love the DIY artwork also!
Are those chairs from Article?
Thanks Daniela! I know the artwork can have a polarizing opinion since it’s a bit out of the box, but I think it’s cool too :) The dining chairs are from Poly and Bark. They’re called Isla dining chairs.
Love how this turned out. How tall are your ceilings?
Appreciate it, Joanna! Their ceiling is 9 feet tall in there. Pretty standard.
I especially love the color scheme that you used and that the window trim now stands out in a good way.
The round table and carpet look great with all of the right angles of the room, but feel a little too small in scale. In the after photos it looks like the rest of the house has not been furnished yet, so maybe more of the family’s possessions came into the room?
Perhaps it’s the photos, but I’m having trouble seeing the details of glass light fixture. I’ll head over to the YT video to get a better look!
I agree, maybe it's the photos?
Totally. I always find it hard to capture the whole room in photos, so I use a wide angle lens. It definitely makes proportions of everything a little off, for sure. I appreciate you checking out my story and hopefully you got a better look at the pendant light in my video :)
I wish I could show the room IRL. It never looks as good in photos.
