Good sized place, with a lot of terrific things. But for me , it was sensory overload big time. Whether it was the deep colors of the walls or with the terrific things as well ~ it 's just too much for this old chick. Enjoy your home its your Zen spot.
I'm a total maximalist and I love it. Probably wouldn't have that dark teal on my walls, but the other colours are wonderful.
So smart to paint the bedroom closet doors the same colour as the walls—if all three doors were white, it would just look like a wall of doors.
Love it, love it, love it! It's moody and Bohemian and looks very comfy. I would enjoy hanging out there with Rosaline!
Love it, love it, love it! It's artsy, moody, Boho, and cozy. I could see myself hanging out here.
I like the colors (I agree with her re Farrow & Ball paints, they have the best colors & somehow, a depth that other paints don’t ). Since I’m a recovering minimalist this would drive me over the edge, especially the kitchen. It obviously makes her happy so that’s a plus for her. I just can’t believe that she’s moved to three countries with all this, or does she just sort of start from scratch with each move?
I agree about the sensory overload. I can see how she likes it, but I know I could never work in that kitchen with all that STUFF. It works if you are a regular takeout customer.
LOVE all the cozy hangout spots. The space feels very lived in and full of warmth and life. I personally find the colors (of both walls and objects) very calming. I'm a fan.
I really like this space. It looks like a library someone has turned into a home. I assume that's a working fireplace, which would be a real plus for me. I'd have a really hard time giving up in-unit laundry facilities, though. The place looks a little old fashioned and a little new-fangled, and I think it's fantastic. I'm going to have to check out Farrow & Ball paints!
