Beautifully designed apartment, though looks to be not lived in yet.
But hard to think about an apartment in Kyiv without feeling angry and sad.
P.S. - A.T., not to sound like a broken record, but the link (?) to comment on this post doesn't work. How can this comment system be re-designed to be so frustrating and user-unfriendly?
It was so hard to find how to comment! However I will never blame you for making it so when doomscrollers have been flooding your pages with crummy, nasty comments. Enough for that. This apartment is beyond beautiful, an island of serenity in the midst of the political turmoil raging on our planet. My heart is with everyone living in Ukraine. May peace come soon.
very cool and sleek. Minimalist. I prefer to surround myself with more color however appreciate great design and decor. Love it
Calm and classy. Those mirrors must have been crazy to move, but flood the apartment with light.
I feel it was a privilege to be able to look through your lovely apartment Natallia, given the extremely challenging circumstances that Ukraine is facing since being invaded by Russia.
You have put so much thought into creating an oasis of calm, beauty and meaning in which to live. That must be so important in the times in which you live. On a wider note, it speaks to resilience of the human spirit. Very best wishes from New Zealand. This time with my spelling corrected!
I appreciate the play of weathered wood and bits of color against the severe chiaroscuro.
I like a lot about this apartment, but the kitchen is too minimalist. I assume that a fridge is behind one of the cabinet doors, but there's really not a lot of room for food and dishes. It looks like a kitchen in a really nice AirBnB. I know that's the trend these days - there are lots of under 500 sq ft condos built in Toronto and they are obviously designed for people who don't cook and eat at home.
