can't wait to see this tour
It's gonna be good 🤩
Perfection! Hope we can see her future home in Brooklyn, too
This is a wonderful apartment with a quite deliberate aesthetic.
Photos, however, suggest that it is a fireplace with an apartment around it.
I am hoping like hell she's gonna take the fireplace mantel with her, nutty as that sounds
Beautiful place. Only one year there but clearly cathartic and beautiful
This place is gorgeous. I love the way she MacGyvered a working fireplace. The kitchen light really appeals to me; I've been looking for something for my kitchen and haven't seen anything I love. This might be just the thing. It makes me a little sad that she put all this effort into making this a home and then is leaving it, but I suppose her next place will be equally beautiful once she's been there awhile. I really enjoy seeing how people turn small spaces into beautiful homes that live larger than they are.
Daniela, thank you for creating this thread in advance.
I think it's a great idea to stoke expectations in this way. And it also makes easier to come comment on tours.
You know I tend to be vociferous in my criticisms, but I also like to give credit when credit it's due.
This is lovely. That big mirror in the living room is amazing
Now, this apartment is GORGEOUS. It went straight to my favorites —and I do hope that feature does not vanish into thin air like the old comment section.
It doesn't walk the thin line between modern and old; it DANCES it. The tall bookcases are airy and kind of lighten the room. And the contrast between the white walls and all that dark, heavy wood and all the gold and bronze details is chef's kiss.
I am seeing a lot of chandeliers in kitchens here, and I love it, because it gives a wonderfully elegant and whimsical touch to such an utilitarian space.
And my gushing comment about this tour is somehow in moderation limbo! Some moderation is a good thing, but this is not acceptable.
Posting and reading comments is just no fun anymore.
It's like having misplaced your keys and trying to remember where you left them when you're already late.
Meant to say "when credit IS due." We should have a longer window to edit posts, or maybe even unlimited time, like before.
