I am looking to make my home office a cozier space that fits my style better- struggling with the layout and furniture because I wfh and do need my desk w/ multiple monitors.
I have attached a picture of it currently and have the following issues so any advice or different suggestions are welcome!
- The storage closet is utilized daily and has everything from my cleaning supplies to office supplies and also my crafting supplies, access can not be blocked or impededbut I am not opposed to blocking the door from closing as it is now since it seems to create an extra space in that corner that would otherwise be lost to the door needing to open and close.
- My dog absolutely loves being able to lay in the open window and look over our street I really do not want to completely eliminate that option for her but I am looking to getting rid of the current daybed for something cozier or more like a big comfy reading chair- as it is the daybed is almost exclusively used by the dog but also open to ideas on how to make it comfier and more inviting to myself
- I have tried my desk in a few different spots in the room but it never feels completely right I don’t want to block the windows with my ugly monitors but the other options for location have also felt kind of cluttered due to the size of the room
- Measurements are 8’6” x 12’3” w/ 8’ ceilings
