Help decorating entry area

I moved not that long ago so I am still working on decorating my apartment. This is the space as you enter my one bedroom apartment (opposite the kitchen and behind the partial wall is my dining room/living room area). I initially was going to use this as a dining area, but there just isn't enough room to put a table for at least 4 and still be able to access/open the closets. I would love some ideas on how to maximize the space without it feeling cluttered or too busy as the first thing you see when you enter the apartment. My style combines modern with a bit of boho minimalism. Of note, access to the side walls is needed for the light switch, the two closets, and an area for my dog's food and water bowls.

This is a great question! Well, what else do you need in your home? Are you lacking storage or could you use this space for something practical? For me personally, when I come home I need to be able to put my belongings down immediately, store my shoes, hang my coat, etc. I'd think about the actions you take when you walk inside your home and design around that. I love the idea of placing a circular table in the center here (maybe with a tablecloth over it so you can hide things underneath), and make it a stylish moment that also serves a purpose. Something like this placement:

You could also put hooks up on the blank wall next to the door, and maybe some shelves on the wall across from the closet for other smaller pieces

A bench storage coatrack combo piece could be great on the wall opposite the closet. Storage under the bench for messy boots and other gear. A table or shelf to serve as a key and stuff dropoff spot, leaving you plenty of room for artwork and dog's bowls.

I would put a bench on the wall to the right for putting on your shoes, and a table next to the door as a drop zone. Do a cute table top display on top of that, too, and hang a mirror over the table. Hang a big artwork over the bench.

I had a similar situation. I would put a (small) ledger board just under the window sill and one on the wall next to your entrance door. Then have a piece of nice plywood cut with a (drastic) curve going towards the door (so as not to impede exits and entrances). This provides you a small drop-off and decorating zone. A small bench or hall tree with mirror to your left as you enter. But I also like the idea of a small round table with hidden storage, that Daniela mentioned.
