Small student bedroom

I have a fairly small bedroom 3x3.5 metres which has a medium window off centre on the longer wall. The opposite longer wall has two door one leading to the outside corridor and one into a small inbuilt closet that isn’t large enough to make anything walk in style. On the right side of the main door is a radiator.

I am a big fan of scandi style and I like cozy natural and fun but yet clean and minimal in a way so I could study without distraction but it can be challenging since I don’t own this place and can’t really change much of the furniture! I also have a lot of clothes and many art supplies that I managed to store away. A challenge I have faced is that I have a day bed so I have many nice pillows to make it look more couch like during the day but having to remove all of them at night is very annoying and usually end up not putting in back into the bed in the morning and also end up being on my desk chair or table also preventing me from studying! (Also I have sage colour walls and can’t really repaint them)
If anyone has any suggestions on how to organise or layout my room better ?

The daybed issue is super relatable those beautiful cushions always seem like a good idea until you’re moving them around every night and they end up living on your chair. One little trick you might try is getting a medium-sized storage ottoman or basket that lives right beside the bed that way at night, you can chuck the pillows in there rather than playing furniture Tetris. It also doubles as seating or even a little side table with a tray on top.

Since you like Scandi style, leaning into that “everything has its place” mindset might help too maybe some slimline shelves or even pegboards above your desk or bed to keep your art supplies accessible but tidy, and use pretty storage boxes so it still feels calm and minimal. Vertical space really becomes your best friend in rooms like this.

And honestly, don’t worry too much about the sage walls they actually sound really calming and quite on trend for that natural, Scandi vibe. If anything, it gives a nice earthy backdrop you can play with using lighter wood tones and soft neutrals. You’ve already got a great foundation just a few little tweaks and I bet it’ll feel way more functional and cozy
