hi! I'm Cullen, the home associate editor at Apartment Therapy. I spend most of my day looking at gorgeous homes and was really inspired by the blue, blue, blue bedroom in Megan McKean's Amsterdam home (I linked a photo below).
finally, I decided to take on my own makeover. I've already painted the walls blue and ordered a blue satin comforter from Eucalypso. I'm still in the market for a blue rug, blue curtains, blue artwork — basically anything else blue (should I do a blue lightbulb?) and if you have any thoughts, I'd love to hear them! thanks y'all! 😋

What if you made a blue headboard? You could just cover wood/foamboard with some pretty blue velvet fabric that's solid or patterned (AT has this post on how to do it.) Then I would splurge on maybe some pretty blue pillow cases! I like these linen ones, these basic ones, and these with cute poms. What if you also painted a pattern with a blue color on the paper lantern/light you already have in there? I saved this photo a million years ago and think it's such a neat idea:

@CullenOrmond basically I think if you're gonna do something, do it ALL THE WAY. Go for it and put blue EVERYWHERE. And you probably need the famous Matisse blue print too, right?!

I love this mirror! This one is much smaller, but what if you got this one for the shape and painted it blue?! I also love the Poster Club for artwork — looks like they have tons of blue gems!

I have this linen sheet set on my wedding registry (hehe): also a splurge but as someone who has long been a jersey sheet user, I'm ready to upgrade! Plus they have a few different lovely shades of blue. I'm pro-cool-toned bedroom overall
