Looking for creative ideas to design my modern living room!

I need help designing my 4x5m living room with a 3m ceiling. The floor is with black marble with white veins (I’d like to keep it), and there’s a double windowed door on the longer wall. I’m aiming for a modern, elegant, and cozy space that includes a dining area behind the sofa.
What I’d love:
- A stylish ceiling fan that complements a modern look.
- Accents like plants, colorful cushions, or art to add personality.
- Atmospheric lighting: wall sconces, floor lamps, and a chandelier over the dining table.
- Ideas for wall decor or accent features to make the room unique.

This ceiling fan is so modern it almost doesn't even look like a fan! Would something like that match with your aesthetic? As far as other decorative elements go, I could totally picture some beautiful wall sconces or picture lights mixed with larger art pieces. You have so much wall space, which is perfect for statement art! Alternatively, I love the look of a gallery wall in a dining nook

I haven’t picked out the larger furniture pieces yet, but here’s what I’m envisioning:
- A comfortable sofa with a high backrest for maximum coziness. I’d prefer something in a neutral color like gray or beige, with sleek metal or wood legs to keep the modern aesthetic.
- A TV mounted on the wall in the right of the picture (I already have plugs only in this wall and don't have the idea to change the position of them). I’d love ideas for how to integrate the TV into the design without it dominating the space—maybe with a media console or directly to the wall with a wall mount?
- For the dining area, I already have an extendable glass table
That ceiling fan idea sounds amazing! I love the concept of a fan that feels more like a design feature than a traditional fan—could you share the one you have in mind?
As for the walls, I’m torn between going for one bold statement art piece or creating a gallery wall in the dining nook. I’m drawn to abstract or modern art but open to other ideas that complement the space.

Oooh on your comment about the TV, I love seeing people conceal their TV in the living room. It's a habit to think that your living room needs to be centered around the TV (and I suppose it should if that's what your main focus is in there, but so often it's not, and it becomes the default!). I'd mount it on the wall and cover it up with a canvas or something unique when you're not using it. You can see an example here!
For the fan, I linked it in my last comment. Does it work if you click here? If you search "modern ceiling fan" online, you'd be surprised by the different options — I certainly was 😅
When it comes to deciding on doing a statement piece of art vs. a gallery wall, that's a tough decision, and a very personal one! You could let the art make the decision for you. In my living room, I originally thought I was going to do a gallery wall above the sofa, but I ended up finding a beautiful massive piece of art at an antique shop near me, and the decision was made haha. Not sure if this is your style, but I love following Lone Fox on Instagram for inspiration. He does a ton of DIYs but also has a really beautiful, layered look in his home that might inspire you!
