family room the size of two small spaces

I no longer live in a small space, but many of the apartment-sized suggestions are appropriate for my large family room. It's actually the size of TWO family rooms. There's a large sectional (12 feet) that we bought along with the house in front of a large (12 feet) bay window, but the other half of the room has almost nothing in it. We have three huge windows and I honestly don't know what to do with this space.
