to build a little banquette seating into my kitchen corner and was wondering if anyone had any ideas. My kitchen is very small.

That's the perfect little nook for banquette seating! Since you mentioned your kitchen is small, what if you ditched the traditional L-shaped seating and just added seating against the brick wall within the alcove? You could try to find a storage bench that fits the dimensions or go custom and build something exact for that spot. Do you like the circular table? You could also do a rectangular table that's coming out from the blue wall. For cushions, I like simple pillows to lean against or something that's attached to the wall.
