New TV Stand

I bought this Target TV stand when I first moved into my apartment four years ago, and it's the perfect size/storage piece, but I've gotten a little tired of the boho style. There's also something about the color that I don't love in my living room.

I'm on the hunt for something in a very dark wood (or that I can easily stain/paint), but it MUST be less than 60 inches. Everything I've found that I love has been way too big or expensive. This Arhaus piece is perfect, but way out of my price range. Does anyone have recommendations for a similar-looking TV stand, media console, or even a cool dresser, ideally under $500?

@BlairDonovan I've been pretty happy with my Bed Bath and Beyond TV stand — and I found this one that has a similar vibe to your current stand but in a darker shade. Personally a big fan of the rounded corners and fluted wood!

@BlairDonovan this is a little above your budget, but this nathan james console caught my eye!

That Arhaus one is stunning — WAH! What about this one from Wayfair? It fits your measurements/budget, and I think the rounded edge makes it feel high-end. You could probably do a little DIY to make the handles feel more vintage, maybe a tassel or trying to add something new altogether!

Would something like this fit your style? Wayfair usually has deals throughout the fall too

Ikea also sells the Besta, which has all kinds of options and finishes. You can even update the style in a few years if you change your mind. There's lots of examples online too of customizing DIYs, like this example that I particularly like!

Have you considered painting the cane on your cabinet - black?
A member here did the panels on her kitchen cabinets with black contact paper. The cupboards are a similar colour to your cabinet. They looked stunning.
