My daughter recently moved out, and I've transformed her room into my work space. The centerpiece remains a mid-century modern desk that belonged to my mother, flanked by an Ikea bookshelf. They rug is from Anthropology and the easy chair from Article. I mixed purple, the color of my childhood bedroom, with green, my favor color as an adult. The whole vibe makes me feel both joyful and sedate.
This is so beautiful and serene, wonderful job! I love the feelings wheel pillow as well 😀
So much to love about this transformation! It looks really great. I can feel the joy 🌞
this turned out so well! where is the green floor lamp from?? i love the print on the shade!
Thank you! My mother gave me the lamp a long time ago, and I'd relegated it to the attic where the original lampshade disintegrated. The new one is from Pooky, whose overall selection I love.
This space feels so happy!! I love all the little pops of yellow throughout — especially that clock!
@mamccarthy9655 I'm in love with this room! the desk! the drawing of the bunny! the cozy chair for reading! this looks like a magical space!
