Down Duvet Insert SOS

I just got a new duvet cover and down insert to go with it…I washed and dried both at my laundromat and the down blanket smelled horrible. I let it air dry for a while but then took it to my dry cleaner. It STILL smells like a wet dog! Should I take it back to the dry cleaner, or do you think this will eventually go away on its own if I let it air out some more? (The care instructions said it could be washed, FYI.)

Omg! I sadly don't have a good answer for this, but I know the exact smell you're talking about and it's awful. This happened to me recently with towels, and I had to wash them a few more times and dry them with so many dryer sheets to make them smell better. Please keep us posted! 😰
