For those living with someone else, how did you blend your design styles?

Do you live with a roommate or partner? If you do, how did you blend both of your design styles when moving in together? Bonus points if I can see a photo of your space to show the end result 🤗

This is my living room. My husband definitely lets me take the wheel when it comes to designing our spaces, but we still go through the process together and always discuss any major purchases. The first thing we do together is decide on the color palette because we both love color and have a lot of opinions on that. I'd love to know about your process!
