Mural Wall Resources

Hi all!

My dream is to do a mural wall in my bedroom, I'm thinking top half of the wall be the mural, then a chair rail/molding and paint that down to the baseboards. I'm looking for options that are good for rental space. Peel and stick wall paper would be the best. Would love to know if anyone has any great suggestions or papers they've used and loved!

This is an inspiration image I found on chrislovesjulia.com. And while I LOVE their mural, it's a bit out of my price range. 😅

Beautiful inspo! I love Belarte Studio, but they don't have peel and stick options. I've heard good things about Rebel Walls though, which sells peel and stick. Are you looking for a nature motif like this? I wonder if it's worth comparing costs of the wallpaper itself vs. hiring a muralist to paint for you. I'm not sure where you're based, but sometimes you can get lucky with local artists! Good luck :)

Rebel Walls was on my radar too - I'll look into them a bit more and see what they have. I'm definitely looking for this motif, I love the antique/historical vibes. Belarte Studio looks beauuutiful!!

As much as I'd love an artist to paint it - I feel like that would definitely cost more and take much more time. But if I ever own my home I'd definitely consider it!

hi @SNandez! I love your inspiration — please post photos whenever you've completed the project, too! I found my peel-and-stick wallpaper from Wayfair. it was SO easy to apply, and when it was time to remove it, it was such a breeze and didn't damage my walls. I can't wait to see where you land!
