Hey everyone! I could really use some design eyes on my living/dining space. I'm trying to pull everything together but feel a bit stuck on a few key pieces.
Design my living room. The couch, coffee table, and TV are staying. I want it to be a neutral transitional modern space that feels refined, stylish, and cozy.
My style leans modern transitional—I love clean lines, cool neutrals, and pieces with beautiful sculptural shapes. I'm drawn to that soft, feminine energy with lots of texture, polished finishes, and graceful silhouettes. Definitely not into midcentury vibes or anything too warm/amber.
I'm hoping to create visual flow between the living and dining areas while keeping each zone distinct—living room more cozy and relaxed, dining area a bit more structured and elegant.
I've included photos so you can see the space.
Here's what I'm shopping for:
Living Room:
- 9x12 rug
- Console or sideboard
- New accent chair (the current one isn't staying)
- Side table
- Lamps
- Pillows
- Throws
Dining Area:
- 50-52" round dining table
- 4 dining chairs
- Light fixture
- Wall art
