This room used to be all tiled surfaces, cramped fittings and wasted potential. We started with a full replan - aiming to fit both a @bathshack freestanding slipper bath and a double shower into just 2 .5m x 2.5m without compromising character or comfort.
✨ The trick was to steal space where we could:
- A @bathshack corner toilet created extra breathing room
- A @sonasbathrooms floating sink unit kept the floor visible and airy
- We carefully laid out every fitting in our hand-drawn plan before lifting a single tile
To bring warmth and texture, we combined:
🎨 Painted panelling in @colourtrendpaints Period Blue
📜 Wallpaper @sanderson1860 Pamir Garden
🧱 Two types of tile — soft-toned terrazzo underfoot and a subtle contrast in the shower from @tilemerchant & @delfornotilesandtimber
Earlier this year, we replaced the entire roof and added a beautiful new @velux window , while also swapping out the old privacy glass to let light flood in fully for the first time. That one small change lit up the whole room.
Designing for small spaces is never about making do - it’s about placing each piece with care and layering in texture, light and softness where you can.
We love how far this little room has come ✨🤍
