How about neither? We had to radically downsize at the tail end of COVID and ended up in an apartment with a border collie. In any case, after seeing how other tenants were organizing their TV watching space, we ended up jacking it up on the wall. Best decision ever.
Space is so limited in studio apartments, so I say mount it up on the wall and try not to use up valuable floor space—unless you really need to!
