I’m considering a white wash on the bricks. Surround only? Or also the floor? It was white 44 years ago when we were in our 20s and moved in and I preferred an “natural” look and I stripped it. Just a wash not solid paint. Any thoughts? And is there a design

I wonder if anyone here has Photoshop to help you visualize the colors. Or you could try making a mock-up in Canva for something scrappy. I think doing the surround only would look great, and then it would really pop against the floor. I'm excited to hear what others think!
