Hi Colleen,

I don't think you should worry so much, the backsplash looks great. I'm sure once you have it all finished and have an assortment of dishes spoons and such on the countertop that the new feature will blend right in. Your probably just focusing so hard on it right now that your not looking at the whole picture.

anything where i have to drink wine first is okay by me...

i like it but my wife already things i'm a big enough geek :)
