munckee and aaron,
you need to be careful of those craigslist ones... i've called about them and usually it turns out they put a fake ad up and say "oh that one is taken, but let me show you some others..." you really have to weed out so many of the realtors and realtor wannabes on craigslist. I looked and looked and the only place i found 2 br for that price was riverdale and forest hills (both nice areas and the apts were huge! but not manhattan.) you might be able to find a jr. 4 that isn't converted yet, and still listed as a 1 br, but even those are hard to come by! good luck!

Oh it's on page 31-32 of the furniture catalogue, it won't let me copy a picture of it.

I have had this entertainment center for years. i hate the wicker (banana bark) look of it, and can't afford a new one. How can I cover the wicker part? mine has 2 doors on bottom and top. I want to be able to close them now so I can lock them from my autistic son who turns the tv on and off and takes all the things off of the shelves. (I have left them open so wicker wasn't visible.) Thanks for any suggestions. Also, it can't be something he could rip off (I thought about putting his drawings on top, but he rips them.)

anyone know of a quick, cheap way to fix cordless blinds. my special needs son likes to climb up radiator and hang on them and broke the tension. unfixable? it's the cellular cordless lift. I've tried emailing them and the warranty has run out. any ideas? only one side doesn't work, has lost its tension.

i'm so still so confused about how to cluster a bunch of framed prints and photographs, mostly of my kids and prints of children, some are a pair, one a trio, should i put those together? not a lot of spare wall space.

Art hanging question... if i want to cluster a bunch of framed pictures, but some are part of a pair, and one of a group of 3. do i keep the pairs together and the 3 together and then cluster the others around them? or should i mix them all up? or should i not use the pairs or groups? thanks

I have nice Bali Roman shades in my bedroom, and blackout wasn't an option with this type. Big Mistake. I now have used baby blankets to keep the room dark, because my youngest still naps in my room. There is no space in the window to put more shades. These were expensive and custom fit so that added to the price. What else can I do to make it look decent and still get a darker bedroom?

thanks. see flickr page above

hi , i asked before but no one answered...i have a silestone bar level countertop with natural wood brackets underneath. i'm repainting the wall under it, should i paint the brackets as well, or leave them the natural wood? painting a blueish white.
